Reading Vending Machines
At Birchwood, we are very lucky to have two vending machines, one in the Lower School Hall and one in the Upper School Hall, full of high quality books.
We extremely value the importance of celebrating success and children are rewarded with a token for the vending machines for various reasons throughout the school year.
'I love looking inside the vending machines when I walk past to see what new books are in them,' Daria.
'I was so excited to take my book home and show my family and tell them how I was given a token in assembly.' Chloe.
'I like that it is a surprise and we never know whose name might be called,' Lucie.
