On Friday 28th June, Mrs Clarke and Mrs Fisher took two teams of Year 5 and 6 pupils to The Polesworth School to enter the first ever Great CAT Bake Off against other Years 5, 6, 7 and 8 pupils from schools within the Community Academies Trust. The children had a wonderful day of baking where all of their skills were really put to the test as they produced a cake to represent their school. We were very proud of the children’s hard work and their finished creations. The standards were extremely high and Mary Berry herself would have been very impressed! After a very difficult round of judging, where the judges were able to taste all of the cakes, Chadsmead Primary school were declared the overall winners for their flag cake. Well done to everyone involved!
